WebMay 20, 2012 · We visited Cape area and wanted to include a visit to safari. Garden Route Game lodge seemed to be the closest real safari to Cape Town and I must say it was not a disappointment! The drive from Cape Town was about 350 km and it was quite a peace of cake as the roads are in good shape and the speed limit is mostly 120 km/h.
